Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on August 4, 1981, is an American actress. Her most well-known work is her performance in the film Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and for roles in television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify the Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. Her popularity was boosted by her performances on the show drama Rectify along with the sci-fi show Timeless. Gulf Breeze Florida native made her acting debut in All My Children. Her performance won her a Soap Opera Digest Award' for Outstanding Female Newcomer. She mostly played in character roles as a guest during the course of many years. The show she appeared on received praise for her role she played in the role of the Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Gradually, her beautiful looks and extraordinary acting talents made her an ideal candidate for a loyal fan base. She made her film debut at 20 and was acting in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are other films where she was featured. In the film Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. The main character in Timeless is Lucy Preston, history professor. The series has been praised by critics and Spencer's performance has been nominated to the Teen Choice Award.
